With just an hour left to score a deal, the Lilly Pulitzer Endless Summer Sale will come to an end tonight at 11:59 p.m. I always love the thrill of a sale, and this one was no different. As the clock struck eight, I felt adrenaline running through my veins. I had been lusting over a specific Lilly dress all season, the Delia dress in “Let’s Cha Cha,” and I was determined to nab it.
Unfortunately, the universe was against me. When I was finally able to get onto the LillyPulitzer.com site around 2:30 p.m. (due to the site constantly crashing), I quickly navigated to my dream dress but could not find it listed in my favorite print. I finished shopping on the site and tried all of the Lilly signature stores with online shopping capabilities, only to find the two words that are a shopper’s worst nightmare: SOLD OUT.
I could have cried. I had tried on the Delia dress earlier in the summer in a Palm Beach Lilly Store and fell in love, but I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much on a cotton shift. I probably could have made a convincing argument for the dress if I was still attending college in Coral Gables, Fla. But, with the dreary New York fall and winter approaching, I knew it wasn’t a smart or thrifty decision. I resolved to wait until the annual Endless Summer Sale, and I now found myself with a sinking feeling in my stomach.
Nevertheless, I did buy some beautiful clothes and I am very happy with my shopping steals.
I decided on the Rylan dress, marked down to $89 from $278, and the Hannah sweater dress, marked down to $59 from $198. I felt I could transition both pieces into the fall, using some clothes and accessories I already had. I also comparison shopped on the Lilly signature store websites and found some clothing marked down even lower on there. It was very tempting to continue shopping, but I resisted.

Try Belk department store. In Phipps Plaza, Atlanta. They will ship to you. They have a Lilly department. I was there Saturday and they had your print in the shift marked at $99.
Thank you so much Kelly, you just made my day! Definitely checking out Belk today
I have the delia in You Gotta Regatta and love it! I am obsessed with Lets Cha Cha and would’ve picked it up if it wasnt sold out! I made out like a bandit!
I scored the Danna dress, the Bills wallet, and the Florida tote! There was so much more that I wanted but alas I had a budget. I love the Rylan dress! The sale was stressful but fun:)
There are also some Lilly Signature Stores that don’t have websites, but who have Facebook pages and will ship! When the Chin Chin Nina Dress sold out, I just started calling. Found it in my size in Oxford, Mississippi at Pink and Proper: https://www.facebook.com/PinkandProperOxford?ref=br_tf They were extremely helpful and willing to match the price… worth a try!
I too was obsessing over the Delia in Cha Cha. I had the same issues with the LP site and by the time I got on – it was gone. I did manage to find it at a signature store in my size on Tuesday. I also wanted the popover in cha cha and have had NO luck. You wouldn’t believe the number of places I called! in any event, I did make some great scores in addition to the Delia – the amada in the overboard/stripe pattern, the carmine dress in get nauti, a pair of McKims, the Sloane dress that was on the flash sale and the Delia in Make a Splash. I had *much* better luck with the signature stores ESPECIALLY sandpiper clothiers where I found the Delia in cha cha. That site had the dress listed for cheaper AND allowed me to use a 20% off code, which they send to you if you sign up for their newsletter!
Good luck finding the Delia. I am SURE it will turn up on eBay or re-Lilly. Enjoy your new purchases!
Oooh I got the Rylan dress a few weeks ago at belks for $62, love that dress! Still trying to figure out more ways to wear it so that it doesn’t look so summery though. Any ideas? 🙂
Wow that is such a good deal, congrats! I just received it in the mail a day or so ago and it is much more summery than I expected. Haha so no ideas just yet, but definitely glad I got it on sale and didn’t pay full price. I expected the stripes to be more gray-ish than pale blue. I think different belts/sweaters/types of shoes might help transition it into fall. What do you think??
That’s kind of what I was thinking as well! Going to experiment with maybe tights/flats with maybe a belt? I’d love to be able to wear it with boots but not sure about that yet haha. Let me know if you have any ideas!
